Let’s not mock citizens not happy with Hichilema victory, says Jito
FINANCE and Investment Advisor to the President Jito Kayumba has thanked people that voted for President Hakainde Hichilema.
Kayumba has extended his sympathies to citizens who voted for other candidates that did not emerge victorious.
“As an administration who are appointees of President Hakainde Hichilema, we truly believe that we must embrace you as well. Do not see yourself as outcast or feel as though you will be discriminated against for any reason, whatsoever,” he says, urging those that supported President Hichilema not to mock those that supported losing candidates.
He says President Hakainde Hichilema believes in national unity and inclusive development.
He says offices like his will remain open to all regardless of choice made at the polls.
“We are extending a hand of family to you because you’re part of the Zambian story,” he says.
