HH PROMISES TO BUILD BRIDGES, MORE HOSPITALS AND SCHOOLS IN LUNGA DISTRICT
The Zambian Post has obtained a report from Mwebantu in which President Hakainde Hichilema has promised to build infrastructure development in Lunga District, if re-elected.
According to the report, President Hichilema said his government would construct bridges to connect islands, build district hospitals and establish boarding schools.
“Lunga District in Luapula Province will be developed. Bridges will be constructed to connect our people who live on the islands. More government infrastructure will continue being delivered to Lunga,” the President said.
The President concluded his message in Bemba, saying, “Mwebena Lunga, twalimitemwa sana. Nakabili Lesa amipale,” meaning, “People of Lunga, we love you very much. Again, God bless you.”
