HERMAN MASHABA SLAMS RAMAPHOSA’S IMMIGRATION SPEECH, CALLS IT WEAK, REACTIONARY AND A FAILURE TO TACKLE SOUTH AFRICA’S BORDER CRISIS AS PRESSURE GROWS ON THE GNU GOVERNMENT

🚨 HERMAN MASHABA SLAMS RAMAPHOSA’S IMMIGRATION SPEECH, CALLS IT WEAK, REACTIONARY AND A FAILURE TO TACKLE SOUTH AFRICA’S BORDER CRISIS AS PRESSURE GROWS ON THE GNU GOVERNMENT 🇿🇦🔥

ActionSA leader Herman Mashaba has strongly criticized President Cyril Ramaphosa following his national address on illegal immigration, saying the speech failed to provide real solutions to one of the country’s biggest challenges.

Mashaba argued that instead of announcing a major change in policy, Ramaphosa repeated what he described as the same promises South Africans have heard for years while illegal immigration, border security concerns and pressure on public services continue to dominate public debate.

According to Mashaba, South Africa needs stronger enforcement of immigration laws, improved border protection and increased capacity for authorities to deal with undocumented migrants. He believes the ANC-led government has failed for decades to secure the country’s borders and that the GNU is continuing many of the same policies.

The criticism comes as immigration has become one of the most hotly debated political issues in South Africa, with parties increasingly divided over how the country should respond while balancing law enforcement, economic concerns and constitutional rights.

💬 Do you agree with Herman Mashaba that Ramaphosa’s response was too weak, or do you think the President’s approach is the right one for South Africa? 🇿🇦👇🔥
