ZAMBIAN ALBERT KANGWANDA SCORES OPENER AS AL-HILAL OUTSHINES DC UNITED WITH 3-1 VICTORY.
Zambian international attacker, Albert Kangwanda was on the score sheet for his club, Al-Hilal SC, who managed to beat United States of America side DC United 3-1 in a club friendly match yesterday.
Kangwanda who joined the Sudanese Club last year on a four years deal, scored an opener in the 15th minute but DC United managed to equalize in the 31st minute thanks to Hopkins J’s goal.
However, Al-Hilal regained the lead with Mohamad Y M’s goal in the 44th minute. Adding to their tally, Abdo B secured victory for Al-Hilal with a goal in the 90+3rd minute.
Al-Hilal are currently top of the Sudanese Premier League with an impressive 53 points drawn from 17 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss.
