WE HAD TO TAKE THE NECESSARY STEPS TO GET JJ BANDA OUT OF THE COUNTRY PANTU MULUMENDO LIMBI ALIFWA, EDGAR LUNGU TELLS SOME PF MPS THAT VISITED HIM AT HIS RESIDENCE

In what is clearly turning out to be a highly organised escape, former President Edgar Lungu thanked some MPs that visited him for the successful work they did in helping their colleague JJ Banda escape what he termed “brutal detention pantu limbi alifwa”.

“When you were planning this thing and asking for resources to help, I thought limbi tafikabombe pantu these guys baliba brutal. I equally had to take the chances and did what I could to help the young man be in peaceful environment outside the country. I am glad he safely arrived at his destination. Our duty now is to continue helping him with his family. Let’s allow him to fully recover now”, Mr. Lungu told the MPs.

Among those present were Emmanuel Tembo of Feira Constituency, Binwell Mpundu of Nkana, Lumezi MP Munir Zulu, and Mfuwe MP Maureen Mabonga.

In what has been described as Hollywood movie, Petauke MP JJ Banda escaped from lawful custody, crossed in Malawi and is currently in Mozambique.
