The UPND says former President EDGAR LUNGU will be remembered for consolidating the country’s democratic processes.
UPND Secretary General, BATUKE IMENDA has called on the country to remain united during the mourning period.
Mr. IMENDA says death is always a challenging and painful process.
In a statement to ZNBC News, Mr. IMENDA has offered the party’s condolences to the family and nation.
He has also called on the nation to mourn Mr. LUNGU with the respect he deserves.
Mr. LUNGU, 68, died yesterday in South Africa.
