BREAKING: Trump throws FURIOUS tantrum after his Supreme Court judges force him to pay $5 million to the woman he assaulted and cries that HE’S the victim in a pathetic outburst!
Donald Trump is having a very normal Monday. That is to say presenting himself as a victim.
After the Supreme Court declined to hear his appeal in the E. Jean Carroll case, leaving intact a jury verdict requiring him to pay roughly $5 million for sexual abuse and defamation, the president immediately took to Truth Social to declare himself the real victim.
“Surprisingly, the Supreme Court declined to ‘review’ a Fake Case brought against me,” Trump fumed.
The president insisted Carroll’s claims were fabricated, complained about New York’s legal system and claimed the entire case was part of a campaign of “Weaponization and Lawfare” directed against him.
“This Case is really against the United States of America,” Trump wrote.
Sorry, old man, it’s against YOU – for doing something really nasty in a store dressing room during your “When you’re famous, they let you do anything” period.
A jury of ordinary Americans heard the evidence and concluded that Trump sexually abused Carroll and then defamed her by publicly attacking her when she came forward.
Multiple appeals courts reviewed the case. Now the Supreme Court has declined to rescue him, despite him having nominated a few of the judges.
Trump was particularly upset that New York lawmakers created a temporary legal window allowing survivors of sexual assault to pursue older claims that otherwise would have been barred by statutes of limitation.
The law was designed to help survivors seek justice, but Trump the narcissist believes it existed solely to inconvenience him.
“New York State created a Law, for an instant speck of time, going back many decades, in order to wrongfully ‘nab’ me,” he whined.
Trump’s post serves as a reminder that after all the criminal cases, civil verdicts, fraud judgments and courtroom losses, his favorite role remains the same one he’s been playing for years: the victim.
But it won’t do him any good at this point.
We say stick a sock in it, and get out your checkbook.
