History is Very Important!!!
To those demonizing old MPs, take note, at one time, between 1998 and 2011, it was not common for people to associate themselves with Upnd.
We had very few Mps in parliament and yet the party had bills to pay such as rent and salaries for staff at secretariat, mobilization and many more.
It’s these few Mps who were contributing every month,verify from accounts and parliament, since these funds were being deducted from the source.
The party strived. As for lawyers representing upnd,when arrested, it was hon Jack Mwiimbu, chad muleza, Tom shamakamba, Martha mushipe and AG kabesha, these people worked tirelessly to ensure that some of us saw freedom, at the expense of their law firms.
Truth be told, let’s turn down, there is no village without an old man. Let those with eyes see and those with ears listen.
