PARLEY OPENS JUNE 11, 2024
The third session of the 13th National Assembly will resume on Tuesday, June 11, 2024.
This is after the National Assembly adjourned Sino die on March 28, this year.
Clerk of the National Assembly ROY NGULUBE says this sitting will be expected to consider a number of committee reports; among them is the report of the Auditor General on the Constituency Development Fund –CDF- for the financial year ended December 31, 2022.
In a statement issued to ZNBC News, Mr. NGULUBE said the previous sitting was mainly a legislative meeting dedicated to consideration of proposed legislation.
He noted that the sitting saw the passing of the Access to Information bill, the investment, Trade and Business development bill amendment bill 2024, among others.
