COURT UPDATE!
THE PEOPLE VS STARDY MWALE AND OTHERS
The matter in which former Defence Permanent Secretary Stardy Mwale and others have been charged with Willful Failure to Follow Applicable Law came up today in Court before Hon. Chibwili the Chief Resident Magistrate for commencement of trial.
However, the trial did not commence as the defence made an application to refer the matter to high court for fair trial and the state rejected this application.
The matter has since been adjourned to 29th January 2024 for a ruling on this application.
