Tehran wants diplomacy… but refuses to look weak.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian says Tehran’s negotiations with the United States are being handled in a way that fully protects Iran’s national rights and interests.
The message coming from Iran is clear: they are willing to negotiate, but they do not want the talks to be seen as surrender or humiliation inside the country.
Pezeshkian stressed that diplomacy does not mean giving up sovereignty. For Tehran, any deal must include real guarantees, respect Iran’s position, and avoid the perception that outside pressure forced Iran into submission.
As tensions continue across the Middle East, both sides appear interested in avoiding a larger conflict. But Iran’s red line remains firm: agreement without humiliation.
The negotiations are moving forward… carefully, slowly, and under enormous global pressure.
