SOUTH AFRICAN FOOTBALL BOSS DANNY JORDAAN ARRESTED
South Africa football boss Danny Jordaan, celebrated for leading South Africa to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup, has been arrested over corruption allegations.
Accused of misusing South African Football Association (SAFA) funds for private expenses, Jordaan, along with SAFA CFO Gronie Hluyo and businessman Trevor Neethling, was set to appear in court yesterday. His arrest has cast a shadow over his legacy in South African football.
