SEAN TEMBO ACTS TO PROSECUTE UPND SG PRIVATELY
PATRIOTS for Economic Progress President, Sean Tembo, on Monday morning delivered a letter to the Director of Public Prosecutions-DPP, seeking permission to undertake a private prosecution of Batuke Imenda.
Tembo filled a complaint in the Lusaka Magistrate Court against Imenda, who is United Party for National Development-UPND Secretary General, for the offense of Hate Speech.
This is in the case in which he referred to Catholic Archbishop of Lusaka, Alick Banda, as the Lucifer of Zambia.
The matter is scheduled for plea on 25th January, 2024.
