SEAN REFUSES TO APOLOGISE TO GARRY
PATRIOTS for Economic Progress (PeP) president Sean Tembo has argued that he owes no apology or damages to Cabinet Minister Gary Nkombo, as he did not defame him.
Mr Nkombo, the Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, sued Mr Tembo in the Lusaka High Court for K40 million in damages for allegedly accusing him of orchestrating an arson attack on opposition MP Jean Chisenga’s house.
Mr Nkombo, who is also the UPND Mazabuka Central MP, is seeking general damages, aggravated damages, and interest in addition to the K40 million.
