REGINA, PLEASE GO HOME. THERE IS NO FRIEND/FAMILY ON THE STREETS.
“My Beloved Daughter, Regina,
It is time to go back home.
I am your father, and one thing you have always known about me is that I have never lied to you. Long before you chose to cross that bridge, I told you what waited at the other end. I did not speak to discourage you; I spoke because a father’s eyes often see what a child’s heart cannot.
You looked at me with confidence and said you were ready to accept everything that came with that decision. I respected your choice, even though it weighed heavily on my heart.
As your father, I will never deny your husband his rightful place because our traditions recognize him as your husband, and I will always respect what is right.
My sweet daughter, the truth rarely sounds pleasant, especially when life becomes difficult. But the people who love you most are often the ones who tell you the truth, even when it hurts.
No matter what has happened, this family has never stopped praying for you. A father’s heart never closes its doors to his child. Your happiness has always mattered more to me than pride, arguments, or public opinion.
Please, my daughter, go back home. Let wisdom guide your next step, not anger or wounded emotions. May peace return to your heart, and may God direct your path.
I will always be your father, and I will always love you.”
