PRESIDENT HICHILEMA THANKFUL FOR CHINA INTERVENTION DURING THIS CHOLERA OUTBREAK
We express our gratitude to the People’s Republic of China through His Excellency Du Xiaohui, the Chinese Ambassador to Zambia, for promptly addressing the Cholera outbreak through nine areas of support.
The areas of support, spanning short, medium, and long-term initiatives, including the production of a vaccine and other anti-Cholera accessories, are commendable and greatly appreciated.
We conveyed our profound gratitude through His Excellency Ambassador Du Xiaohui to His Excellency President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China for their solidarity and swift response. This timely assistance underscores our all weather friendship that has existed for 60 years between our two nations and peoples.
We continue to urge our citizens to maintain high standards of hygiene and to promptly visit the nearest health center if they feel unwell.
