PRESIDENT HICHILEMA IS TODAY EXPECTED TO TRAVEL TO CHINA
PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema is today expected to travel to Beijing for a working visit as well as attend the 9th Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) Summit.
The summit, held every three years interchangeably in Africa and China, will be convened from September 4 to 6, 2024 in Beijing under the theme ‘Joining forces to promote modernisation and build a high-level China-Africa community of a shared future’.
Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mulambo Haimbe said President Hichilema will hold a bilateral meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping during the visit.
