PRESIDENT HH IS TOO INSENSITIVE TO BEMBAS IN FORCING BRE TO PUT HIM AS GUEST OF HONOR AND DROP CHITIMUKULU OF THE BEMBA SPEAKING PEOPLE

Political leaders who are too insensitive to cultural matters are dangerous in any country as they have the potential to divide the people. President Hakainde Hichilema is now sowing seeds of discord in Barotseland and Bembaland because of his insensitivity and great appetite to speak at functions.
Barotseland Watchdog do have silent discussions with both the Litunga and Chitimukulu like the one we had with the Litunga yesterday after supper and he bemoaned the behavior of President Hakainde with regard to traditional matters.
The Litunga who is in high mood to receive Paramount Chief Chitimukulu, complained that the actions of HH and his UPND Government are aimed at bringing division between the Lozis and Bembas. “These issues are also not good for him as President because how will Bembas feel if they hear we had accorded their Paramount Chief Chitimukulu the respect of being our Guest of Honor but President Hakainde fought us with all kind of threats to drop him so that himself can be one? This is not good at all,” the Litunga bemoaned.
When our Cultural Reporter, asked the Litunga if he had intentions to ban HH completely from entering Barotseland he said, “Such questions should be channeled to the Ngambela I don’t share my decisions directly to the media. What we have shared are just normal ‘after meals discussions’ but if you are wise you would have realized that I’m not happy with HH because he is fighting my special guest, I need to protect at all cost,” concluded the Litunga as he officially referred the Barotseland Watchdog Cultural Reporter to the Ngambela for further engagement.
However, when the Ngambela was asked how far they had gone with the cry of President HH of becoming the Guest of Honor at this year’s Kuomboka Ceremony? The Ngambela just said, “Mushukulumbwe yo kale alukola ni Sililo sa hae.(Literally meaning we are now fed up with this man of Southern Province Origin). Thereafter, the Ngambela declined to comment further.
This is how bad it has become for President Hakainde Hichilema of Bweengwa. All this are not happening because the people of Barotseland hate him no, but it’s because of his ungrateful behavior towards Lozis. And we are surprised to see UPND praise singers in Barotseland sweating day and night over this despite the weather being favourable and others being in Kuomboka Ceremony Mood. Let them tell HH that Likute kubabamu ki la butokwa, full stop
