ORDER OF EVENTS IN BOYD LONGWE’S ACCUSATION, ARREST AND DETENTION IN KASEMPA.

11TH APRIL, 2023
– Koswe social media platform publishes an article accusing Boyd of having insulted the Republican President Hakainde Hichilema

– Koswe mentions the Kasempa DEBS in their article and urges the DEBS to take action against Boyd.

– Unknown person’s directly calls the Kasempa DEBS compelling the DEBS to urgently act against Boyd based on koswe’s story.

– Kasempa DEBS refuses to act and refutes the allegations against Boyd because no evidence is produced.

– Boyd posts a rebuttal on his facebook account vehemently refuting the story published by koswe.

12TH APRIL, 2023
– In the morning, Boyd visits the Kasempa DEBS office for a discussion on the accusation made by koswe.

– UPND Cadres arrives at the DEBS premises, pounces on Boyd, man handles him, effects a citizens arrest in the name of protecting President Hichilema and take him to Kasempa Police Station.

– At the police station, UPND cadres only produces the koswe’s story against Boyd. No further evidence is adduced to support the UPND’s accusations.

– Boyd is interrogated by the CIO at Kasempa Police Station. Boyd still vehemently refuses the accusations against him by koswe and the UPND cadres.

– Police formally arrest Boyd confiscates his phone and tells him that the phone shall be handed over to ZICTA to look for further investigations.

– Boyd is locked up in police cells. His plea for police bond is denied.

– Boyd’s Deputy Head Teacher writes a charge letter against boyd and delivers the letter to the Kasempa DEBS.

– Kasempa DEBS writes Boyd a suspension letter but does not deliver it to Boyd who is locked up at Kasempa Police Station.

– Boyd is forced to write an exculpatory letter no knowing that his suspension letter has already been written by the Kasempa DEBS.

13TH APRIL, 2023
– Boyd’s suspension signed by the Kasempa DEBS appears on prime television main news and other social media platforms.

– Boyd has no access to his suspension letter, only hears about it from his visitors.

14TH APRIL, 2023
– Boyd is still in police custody.

15TH APRIL, 2023
– Boyd is still in police custody.

16TH APRIL, 2023
-Boyd who suffered a major stroke before still remains in police custody.

17TH APRIL, 2023
– Boyd is still in police custody.

18TH APRIL, 2023
– Boyd still remains in police custody with no sign of a police bond or being taken to court.
