OFFICIAL COMMUNICATION TO ALL MEMBERS – Lobola Must Fall Movement.
Dear Comrades and Fellow Members,
We write to address a matter that has been circulating within our membership regarding our Secretary General, Mr. Mputa Ngalande.
It has come to the attention of the leadership that Mr. Ngalande was recently alleged to have participated in a Lobola payment process. Following these allegations, the movement immediately instituted a formal investigation to ascertain the facts of the matter.
Upon extensive investigation, our investigative team has established that Mr. Ngalande did indeed receive a Chilanga mulilo a week ago. However, he has submitted to the investigative team that the Chilanga mulilo received was not on his own behalf, but on behalf of his brother who has been residing in South Africa and was unable to be present for the occasion himself.
We wish to assure all members that the leadership takes this matter seriously and with the level of diligence it deserves. We have therefore instituted a further phase of investigation to verify and confirm whether the Chilanga mulilo received by Mr. Ngalande was indeed on behalf of the brother, or whether it was for his own personal benefit. The Chairperson will therefore travel to South Africa tomorrow to get the facts of the matter together with members of the investigation team.
In the meantime, Mr. Mputa Ngalande will continue to serve in his position as Secretary General of the Lobola Must Fall Movement. This decision will remain in place until the investigation has been fully concluded and the facts have been established beyond doubt.
We urge all members to remain calm, steadfast, and united as we work to get to the bottom of this matter. We will communicate our findings to the membership in due course.
