Nose ring, anklet don’t affect my relationship with God – Chileshe Bwalya
The past week, the streets of Facebook were buzzing with criticism targeted at Gospel Artiste Chileshe Bwalya and her love for jewellery which some people feel is not synonymous with christianity.
You see, Chileshe loves to accessorise with a nose ring and an anklet but this does not go down very well with some “believers” – Zambia is, after all a “Christian Nation”.
After she posted a very casual laid back photo of her sitting on a couch in a decent dress, some fans zoomed in on her leg, saw her anklet and all hell broke loose.
Some of her followers argued that, as a gospel minister, she “should embody modesty and reflect God’s image.
