NEBULA GEORGE HEINZ AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURING TO ESTABLISH AIRCRAFT PLANT IN ZAMBIA
Nebula George Heinz Aircraft Manufacturing, a leading company with operations in China and the United States, is planning to set up an aircraft manufacturing plant in Zambia. The company specializes in producing low-altitude, light public aircraft with a carrying capacity of up to 16 passengers, as well as constructing mini airports.
Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) Director General Mr. Albert Halwampa recently held a meeting with representatives from Nebula George Heinz Aircraft Manufacturing to discuss the proposed investment. The meeting was also attended by key stakeholders, including officials from the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Zambia Environmental Management Agency, and Road Development Agency.
Nebula George Heinz Aircraft Manufacturing’s expansion into Zambia aims to promote local tourism, enhance cross-country travel, and reduce road congestion. The company plans to construct mini airports across the country, with the first phase targeting 50 locations, followed by a second phase that will include 100 additional sites. The aircraft produced by the company are designed to take off and land on runways as short as 200 meters, making them suitable for a variety of locations.
