NAWAKWI DID NOT ABDUCT THE INFAMOUS HATEMBOS
President Hakainde Hichilema’s security officer Kenneth Magaleta has “cleared” FDD leader
Edith Nawakwi from the alleged case of abduction.
In this matter,Ms Nawakwi is accused of threatening violence and abduction.
According to the charges, she is accused of declaring threats of lethal harm to Pheluna and Milton Hatembo, a family embroiled in a family land wrangle in which Ms Nawakwi was helping the family to stop illegalities by President Hakainde Hichilema then as an opposition leader who bought land without concent from an administrator.
But a shocking video has emerged were President Hichilema’s security officer Kenneth Magaleta has openly said that he is actually the one who kept the Hatembo’s.
Mr Magaleta further confirms reports that the Hatembo’s were kept by Akson Sejani and others and not Ms Nawakwi as has been alleged by those in the embattled UPND.
The video attached here exposes the state and President Hichilema’s associates who have banked on this case to subdue the voice of Ms Nawakwi from shaping political opinion and direction on the governance of the country.
The move to silence Ms Nawakwi is in line with the UPND “policy” of shrinking democratic space and enhancing illegalities by abrogating the constitution and blatantly bludgeoning the rights of citizens.
The case of Ms Nawakwi comes up for the commencement of trial on Monday 15th of January,2024
