Namibia has officially ended visa-free access for citizens of the United Stares, United Kingdom, and 31 other countries
The policy, which took effect following a cabinet decision, requires travelers from affected nations to obtain visas before entering Namibia.
Other countries affected include, Canada, Germany, France, Australia, Japan, and several other European countries.
According to authorities, the move is aimed at ensuring reciprocity, arguing that many of the countries enjoying visa-free access to Namibia do not offer the same privilege to Namibian passport holders.
