MY LOYALTY TO HICHILEMA IS SOLID AS A ROCK – NKOMBO
Fired Local Government and Rural Development Minister Gary Nkombo says he has remained loyal to President Hakainde Hichilema and UPND.
Dismissing Brebner Changala assertions that the wars of Jericho have fallen wondering whether the beginning of Nkombo ascending to the presidency has begun, Nkombo said his loyalty remains strong.
“BREBNAR CHANGALA AND THE MAST HAVE CONTINUED THEIR ATTEMPTS FOR DIVISIVENESS, I ONLY HAVE THIS ONE PLATFORM TO RESPOND TO THEM THAT MY LOYALTY TO PRESIDENT HAKAINDE HICHILEMA AND TO UPND REMAINS SOLID AS A ROCK AND I WILL WALK WITH MY PARTY AND MY PRESIDENT UNTIL THE END OF TIME. PLEASE TREAT THIS HEADLINE WITH THE CONTEMPT THAT IT DESERVE,” Nkombo said in dismissing the story published in the Mast Newspaper.
He remains a member of Parliament for Mazabuka Central where he has served for four terms. He also heads the Elections and Campaign committee in the UPND National Management Committee.
Nkombo was a fortnight ago fired with what insiders say corruption links. He was replaced by Gift Simuunza Sialubalo of Sinazongwe Constituency.
