Msoni takes on HH to quit if government salaries are poor

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema should quit the presidency and go back to the corporate world where he earned more than a meagre K53, 000 as failure to do so risks losing his personal assets when he leaves office.

Nason Msoni, the All People’s Congress Party leader, regretted that President Hichilema was encouraging wrong doing and rebellion in the nation by stating that the civil service and other government jobs offer low wages.

Mr Msoni said in an interview that it was one’s choice to work for government or the private sector and so to say people should not clamour for jobs in the civil service was an insult.

Mr Msoni wondered why President Hichilema insisted for more than five times to become Head of State if government salaries were indeed small.
