According to information shared by Chabinga with his counterpart, Davison Mung’andu( Chama South MP) who said, the meeting is focused on discussing the modalities for removing Faction PF President Miles Sampa. Sampa has reportedly been deemed ineffective and not meeting the required standards to lead the PF party legally.
Mung’andu reveals that Chabinga is being positioned to succeed Miles Sampa at the earliest opportunity. Additionally, sources suggest that this move is part of a broader strategy to ensure that former President Edgar Lungu does not run for office or wield any significant political influence ahead of the 2026 elections.
