MILES SAMPA FINGERED TO HAVE POISONED THE LATE FORMER PRESIDENT EDGAR LUNGU

Last night, a tale emerged that sent shockwaves through social media and political circles alike.

Honourable Emmanuel Jay Banda’s revelation cast a spotlight on a conspiracy so dark, it reads like a script from the underworld Harvard University of politics: Miles Sampa, once a member of the United Party for National Development (UPND), conspired with President Hakainde Hichilema to eliminate now the late former President Edgar Lungu.

The intrigue began with a masterstroke of deception. Sampa, deeply embedded in the UPND under Hichilema’s leadership, they together orchestrated a feigned resignation of Sampa from the UPND.

This was no ordinary defection; it was a calculated maneuver designed to hoodwink the Patriotic Front (PF), the long-time political home of both Sampa and Lungu.

Sampa’s ostensible return to the PF was not born of reconciliation but of subterfuge—a ruse to draw closer to Lungu, the man he would ultimately betray.

Successful in his deceit, Sampa rekindled ties with Lungu, gaining his trust and access.

Behind closed doors, over the seemingly innocent ritual of shared tea, darkness brewed.

The poison that was stealthily slipped into Lungu’s cup was more than mere toxin: it was a deliberate act to eliminate Hichilema’s political threat.

The photo attached, according to Honourable Emmanuel Jay Banda, shows the day Sampa poisoned Lungu.

Later, Lungu died in South Africa a chilling blow, a plot executed to ensure that after Lungu and PF’s defeat in the 2021 elections, they would be unable to rally back to power.
