JUDGEMENT IN CHITOTELA AND NIXON CHILANGWA TODAY IN KAWAMBWA

Authorities in Lusaka have taken keen interest in the matter where a judgment is expected to be delivered in Kawambwa against Kawambwa MP and Deputy Secretary General, Nixon Chilangwa and his counterpart, Pambashe MP, Ronald Chitotela.
Luanshya based Magistrate Martin Namushi sitting as Kawambwa Subordinate Court is expected to deliver a final judgement in the case.
It has been discovered that Namushi is under tremendous pressure to jail the Luapula political king pins as part of a larger UPND plot to destroy the Patriotic Front, a stronghold in the area.
In this matter, Mr. Chitotela, and Mr. Chilangwa with five others, have been appearing in the Kawambwa Magistrate Court for alleged cases of arson, threatening violence, malicious damage to property, and assault cases allegedly committed in August 2021.
The other five accused persons are Kalumba Chifumbe, Davy Kaniki, Chabu Chitotela, Charity Musantu and Kunda Chitotela.
