Diamond TV newsman, Dingindaba Jonah Buyoya has been challenged by the BBC to prove his claim that he turned down a job at BBC by producing an offer letter showing that the media house wanted to contract him.
“We gave him a life opportunity to experience life at BBC just like any other recipients of the Komla Dumor Award. He did his part but unfortunately he couldn’t impress much.
If he claims that he had turned down a job offer at BBC, let him prove his claims by showing you his Offer Letter which we give to all those whom we are interested in…” says Tim Davie, Director General.
Dingindaba Jonah Buyoya, is quoted in some section of the Zambian media stating that he opted to stay close to his Chilenje home by turning down a job offer at BBC.
This has sparked debate as to whether Jonah is telling the truth or not. It is now upto Jonah to prove his mockers who feel he couldn’t just impress at BBC by producing an offer job letter which he was given
