Kenyan President William Ruto has bowed to more pressure from the youth who have continued with nationwide protests demanding good governance.

Amid the public outrage and protests over what they are calling bad governance, President Ruto has now asked his ministers and members of parliament to “live within their means” ordering the immediate withdrawal of their recent pay rise.

President Ruto’s order was made through Kenya State house spokesperson Hussein Mohammed.

Tuesday and Thursday have been designated as protests days for youth and other citizens who are exercising their rights to protest against government decisions.
