KAWAMBWA TEA IS A POSITIVE STEP TAKEN BY IDC-EVANS KAZONGA NG’OMA
The government’s continued operation of the Kawambwa tea company through the IDC is for purposes of promoting self-reliance through import substitution, enhancing food security, creating employment opportunities for the surrounding communities, supporting poverty reduction initiatives, and accelerating social infrastructure
In order for this objective to be realized as buy Zambian campaign, we would like to encourage procurement officers from all government ministries now going forward to consider putting Kawambwa tea on their refreshment menu.
We would also like to advise privileged households in Zambia to exercise patriotism, each time they wish to buy tea, should think of buying Kawambwa tea first.
Please let’s help promote our own local tea brand (Kawambwa tea).
