KAMBWILI TALKS ABOUT PRESIDENT HICHILEMA’S FAILED PROMISES
Chishimba Kambwili, former Minister of Information, criticized President Hakainde Hichilema for failing to fulfill his campaign promises from the 2021 elections, notably regarding fuel and electricity prices.
Speaking at a rally in Mwansabombwe, Kambwili questioned whether any Zambian is purchasing fuel at the promised K12 per litre, noting current prices and their effect on commodity costs.
He highlighted unfulfilled commitments to reduce mealie meal and fertilizer prices, and criticized the government’s inaction on promised employment for youth and the replacement of luxury ministerial vehicles with Toyota Corollas.
Kambwili urged opposition parties to support presidential candidate Brian Mundubile in the upcoming elections.
