KAMANGA UNOPPOSED, 8 OTHER FAZ PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEES DISQUALIFIED
Incumbent Football Association of Zambia-FAZ-President Andrew Kamanga has emerged as the sole valid nominee for the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) presidency, while eight other nominations have been declared invalid.
This means Kamanga will go through unopposed in the election.
The eight unsuccessful nominees are Adrian Kashala, Keith Mweemba, Emmanuel Munaile, Godfrey Chikumbi, Mumbo Lombe, Alex Njobvu, Francis Hamfwiti, and Machacha Shepande.
Kamanga’s unopposed victory is reminiscent of scenarios where a candidate is declared elected without a contest, as seen in some elections.
