JULIUS MALEMA DEFENDS HIS LEADERSHIP STYLE, SAYS “CALL ME A DICTATOR, BUT I’M DOING MY WORK” AS HE EXPLAINS WHY HE PAYS ATTENTION TO EVERY DETAIL

EFF leader Julius Malema has defended his hands-on leadership style, saying he does not mind being called a dictator if it means getting the job done.

Speaking during a recent interview, Malema said he personally pays close attention to even the smallest details, from checking whether sound systems at political rallies are working properly to inspecting public facilities. According to him, strong leadership requires leaders to be actively involved instead of leaving everything to others.

Malema argued that his management approach is about ensuring accountability and maintaining high standards. He said this level of involvement reflects how the EFF intends to govern if it is elected to lead South Africa, with a focus on preventing the collapse of public infrastructure and improving service delivery.

His remarks have sparked debate on social media. While some people praised his commitment and attention to detail, others questioned whether such a leadership style could become overly controlling.

Do you agree with Julius Malema that leaders should personally oversee every detail, or do you think there is a balance between strong leadership and giving others responsibility?
