It’s not HH to decide who should be on ballot in 2026 – Hamasaka
PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has nothing to do with whether former President Edgar Lungu shall be on the ballot or not and it is therefore being politically inept for Given Lubinda to be swearing that the former head of State will be on the ballot in 2026 by hook or crook, Clayson Hamasaka has said.
Mr Hamasaka, the State House Chief Communications Specialist says whether former President Lungu was going to be on the ballot or not was not President Hichilema’s business but the laws that are governing all aspiring candidates to participate in the 2026 general election.
