IMINGALATO GO DEEPER AS NELLIE MUTTI REFUSES TO REMOVE MILES SAMPA AS A MEMBER OF THE PAN-AFRICAN PARLIAMENT

On 16th June, months before Miles Sampa’s Extra-Ordinary Conference, Opposition of Parliament wrote to the Speaker to remove Miles Sampa as a member of Pan-African Parliament.

Mutti refused to effect the legal changes.

Dear Sir
RE: WITHDRAWAL OF NOMINATION OF HON MILES SAMPA

We make reference to the above matter.

We write to put the Office of the Clerk of the National Assembly on notice of the decision by the Patriotic Front to withdraw the nomination of Honourable Miles Sampa MP from his position as our representative at the Pan African Parliament.

This decision has been necessitated by the position taken by the nominee to question the One-China Policy in his repeated comments on China which position is in deep conflict with the ideology and philosophy of the Patriotic Front in its relations with China.

In addition, we are also informed that this nominee has continued to misconduct himself while serving at PAP.

On two occasions while on mission he left Johannesburg prematurely and on the occasion of his last mission he absconded and came to Lusaka
while the session was on.

The Office of the Clerk is further notified that in place of withdrawn nominee the Party has appointed Hon Sydney Mushanga, MP Bwacha Member of Parliament as the new nominee to the Pan African Partiament.

Yours faithfully
