IG MUSAMBA SENDS POLICE IN FULL RIOT GEAR TO STORM THE UPA NGOMA CULTURAL FESTIVAL

The Zambia Police Inspector General of Police, Graphael Musamba, sent police officers in full riot gear to disrupt and stop a traditional ceremony that was taking place in Kaoma District.
The Inaugural UPA Ngoma Cultural Festival, was held on Saturday, 18th May 2024 by His Royal Highness Senior Chief Dr. Akashambatwa Mbikusita Lewanika.

The Barotse Royal Establishment defied the illegal orders from Western Province Commissioner of Police, David Chileshe Mukuka.
A senior police officer informed the Kuta that the team of policemen he was leading were under strict instructions to disrupt and stop the ceremony.
