HUBBY COMMITS SUICÍDE AFTER BEING BÉATEN BY WIFE
A 41-year-old man from Mayobo Village in Namwala District has allegedly committed suîcide after he was béaten by his wife following a quarrel.
Narrating the ordeal to Byta FM News, Milisi Village Senior Headman, Josias Chinzuma, has identified the deceased as Agule Sikachinga.
Chinzuma explains that on 9th January, 2024, around 20:00 hours, the couple were arguing over their Shop keys, which escalated into a fight.
He says around 04:00 hours the next day, the deceased is alleged to have ingested a Cotton Pesticide labelled “Spear” and was taken to Mobola Clinic, later referred to Macha Mission Hospital where he died.
The remains of the deceased are deposited at Macha Mission Hospital.
Police are yet to confirm the incident.
