HH URGES CHILANGA RESIDENTS TO VOTE FOR UPND
President Hakainde Hichilema has thanked residents of Chilanga District in Lusaka Province for turning out in large numbers during his campaign meeting and urged them to vote for the UPND in the August general election.
President Hichilema said his administration had restored law and order in Kalundu, an area he said was previously associated with politically motivated attacks against people wearing red clothing.
“Just about four years ago, Kalundu area of Chilanga was a hub of political attacks to anyone who wore red clothes but not anymore. We fixed lawlessness,” he said.
The President said the Government wanted to continue implementing development programmes in Chilanga and appealed for renewed public support at the polls.
“Ba Kalundu, Chilanga district of Lusaka Province, go and vote for the UPND. We have to continue delivering development for you all,” President Hichilema said.
