GOVERNMENT EXPLORING POSSIBILITIES OF CREATING SPECIALIZED CHILDRENS HOSPITAL
Health Minister Sylvia Masebo says government places premium on children’s healthcare and that discussions are underway to consider the setting up of Specialized Children’s Hospitals.
Ms Masebo said government is still exploring possibilities surrounding the matter knowing that children are the future.
She said currently the fiscal space does not accomodate the matter owing to various challenges being faced by the country.
The Minister was speaking at her office in Lusaka when the Zambia Pediatrics Association (ZPA) paid a courtesy visit.
