GIRLFRIEND DIES IN BOYFRIEND’S CAR
A 29-year-old Lusaka based woman identified as Edina Lungu, has died while seated inside her boyfriend’s car in Kabwata on 9th March, 2024 around 21:50 hours.
Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Danny Mwale, notes that preliminary investigations indicate that the deceased was drinking beer with her 36-year-old boyfriend of Libala South.
She is alleged to have collapsed while seated inside the car.
Mwale notes that the boyfriend immediately rushed her to Kabwata Clinic where she was pronounced dead.
The remains have been deposited at the University of Zambia Teaching Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem, with Police opening an inquiry file into the matter.
