NKOMBO SUMMONED
Former Mazabuka Central Constituency Member of Parliament, Hon Gary Nkombo, has been summoned for assault.
Nkombo is reported to have assaulted Bulden Haloba and two others.
While the grounds of the complaint are described as “frivolous,” the legal ramifications surrounding this accusation may not be simple.
To the surprise of many, Nkombo’s continued association with his party, even after experiencing what is perceived as marginalization—including being removed as minister, election chairperson, and not being adopted as a member of parliament, and now summoned – speaks to his diminished standing in the party.
