Gareth Cliff Says Naledi Pandor’s Shocking Armed Robbery Proves South Africa’s Crime Crisis Is Completely Out Of Control — “Even Former Ministers And Politically Connected Elites Are No Longer Safe”

Media personality Gareth Cliff has reacted to the shocking armed robbery at former International Relations Minister Naledi Pandor’s Pretoria home, saying the incident exposes just how dangerous South Africa has become.

According to reports, armed suspects stormed Pandor’s property, confronted her and her husband at gunpoint, ransacked the house, and stole valuables and a vehicle before fleeing.

Gareth Cliff said while he strongly disagrees with many of Naledi Pandor’s political views and believes she was a disastrous minister, nobody deserves to experience armed criminals invading their home.

He argued that the incident should be a wake-up call for politicians and wealthy elites who usually travel with blue-light brigades and heavy security because once they leave office, they are forced to face the same crime ordinary South Africans deal with daily.

Cliff also warned that violent crime, collapsing trust in government, and political instability are making citizens lose confidence in the country’s future.

Many South Africans online are now debating whether the government has completely lost control of crime as criminals appear fearless, targeting both ordinary citizens and former high-ranking politicians.
