FORMER PRESIDENT EDGAR LUNGU WOULD RATHER WORK WITH HARRY KALABA THAN SOME SELF PROCLAIMED HIGH RATED TOXIC INDIVIDUALS IN SOCIETY, SAYS SEAN TEMBO

Tonse Alliance Chairperson who is also former President Edgar Lungu feels more respected with CF President Harry Kalaba than some of his former compatriots in the PF and some toxic individuals in society,  reveals PeP President Sean Tembo.

After an audio leakage where Fred Mmembe’s daughter Akende Mmembe and his National Youth Chairperson Kaunda was heard plotting to hijack the Alliance while Edgar Lungu was still bedridden in South Africa, Tembo said it was very clear there were some people celebrating the former President’s illness.

“We have now caught the treacherous individuals among ourselves including some of those President Lungu entrusted with responsibility within the PF. We have also noted an increased pattern by some toxic individuals in society trying to meet various political leaders with a view to hijack the Alliance while President Lungu is still attending medical treatment in South Africa. We will meet them head on because they are traitors”, says Sean Tembo.

Yesterday, Sean Tembo wrote letters to PF faction leaders Given Lubinda and Raphael Nakacinda to show cause why they should not be disciplined for holding clandestine meetings with Socialist Party President Fred Mmembe plotting a hostile takeover of the Alliance while President Lungu is still aware.

Sean Tembo says whatever he does has the blessings of the Tonse Alliance Chairperson Edgar Lungu as he was in regular touch with him from his hospital bed in South Africa.

“Some of these people are the ones who made him to be humiliated by losing power in 2021, said Sean Tembo in an apparent reference to Given Lubinda and Raphael Nakachinda. And we have also not forgotten what others had done to President Edgar while he was in power, said Tembo in an apparent reference to Fred Mmembe.

Mr. Tembo said while Edgar Lungu and Harry Kalaba may have had some differences, they are not as toxic as others who are now being treacherous against the former President Edgar Lungu.
