Cameroon Presido Paul Biya, 93, Reshuffles Military Leadership While Abroad
93 years old Cameroon Presido|Point One Paul Biya has reshuffled the country’s senior military leadership while chilling abroad, according to presidential decrees announced on national radio on Monday.
The changes include the promotion of the Presidential Guard commander to brigadier general, the appointment of a new commander of the Rapid Intervention Brigade, and the replacement of commanders in four of the country’s five joint military regions.
According to the First Lady of Cameroon:
“My husband has invested so much energy and time into making Cameroon have a stable democracy, we cannot just sit and watch another man reap from where he did not sow”
