EVERY PATRIOTIC ZAMBIAN SHOULD SUPPORT THE SOCIALIST PARTY

To create the Zambia we want for future generations, it is essential that every patriotic Zambian supports the Socialist Party. While our friends in government boast about debt restructuring as their major achievement, we must critically examine this claim.

Is postponing our challenges by pushing debt obligations 15 or 20 years into the future truly an achievement? As critical thinkers who care about this country, we should be deeply concerned.

In 15 to 20 years, Zambia’s population is projected to double, meaning the challenges we face today—poverty, unemployment, and lack of development—will only multiply. Debt restructuring does not solve these problems; it merely shifts the burden onto the next generation.

It’s also troubling that when you ask most young Zambians where they would want to settle, very few choose an African country. Many aspire to live in America, France, or Europe, forgetting that these nations became what they are today because they had visionary leaders—leaders who prioritized their people and cared about future generations.

For Zambia to thrive, we must adopt a similar approach. We need leaders who believe in ownership and control because you cannot control what you do not own. Unfortunately, the current government is giving away our resources to foreign investors under the guise of investment. This will not build our country; it will only make us more dependent.

To put Zambia on the map, we must take charge of our destiny. Supporting the Socialist Party is not just a political choice; it is a commitment to creating a Zambia where our resources benefit our people, where our youth can thrive, and where we build a future that generations to come will be proud of.

Let us unite to create the Zambia we envision—a self-reliant, prosperous, and just nation!
