Eminem grew up in abject poverty and toxic environments. He dropped out of high school after failing the 9th grade three times.

Eminem had his only biological child named Hailey by his girlfriend Kim Scot when he was 23 years old.

Eminem was broke and doing minimum wage jobs to cater for his daughter. Despite how bleak things were for him, he never gave up on his purpose (rap). He had no money yet he was always going from one rap freestyle competition to another to compete.

Luck smiled on Eminem when he attended a rap competition titled Rap Olympics and came 2nd position. His Demo CD got to Jimmy Iovine, he played it and loved his wordplay, deliveries and rhymes. He passed the rapper’s CD to Dr Dre.

Despite how bleak things were for Eminem, he kept prioritizing his purpose. He never let go of his dream. He kept pushing till he was able to turn his dream into reality.

Kings, it is important that we focus on our goals. That should be our main priority in life. Cut off distraction and focus on your self development.
