ELECTORAL CHAOS: Invalidation Of 82 Elected Candidates Proof Of Mass Electoral Fraud & CENI’s Disorganization In 2023 Polls
DRC opposition presidential candidates have released a joint-statement in reaction to the Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) announcement of the invalidation of over 80 elected candidates National and Local elections after being found guilty of electoral fraud.
The opposition candidates including Moise Katumbi, Martin Fayulu, Denis Mukwenge, Floribert Anzuluni, Franck Diongo, Seth Kikuni, Augustin Matata and Delly Sesanga claimed that the statement by CENI sufficiently proves the extent of cheating and disorganization exhibited by the commission in order to successfully deliver Félix Tshisekedi’s re-election.
“The simple analysis of the list of 82 victims demonstrates that the fraud has spread across the entire national territory. This in reality implies that it has much more serious dimensions, especially when we note that the beneficiaries of the machines to vote are all generally from the same political family as Mr. Félix Tshisekedi and have state status as ministers, senators, governors, deputies, mayors Etc” the statement by the opposition candidates reads.
A commission of inquiry has since been set up by the CENI to examine the fraudulent acts committed by the invalidated candidates during the 20 December elections.
A number of Ministers and Governors and top government officials in the Tshisekedi regime have been found guilty of electoral malpractice including corruption, illegal detention of DEVs, vandalism of electoral materials and intimidation of electoral agents. https://drcnewstoday.com/electoral-chaos-invalidation-of-82-elected-candidates-proof-of-mass-electoral-fraud-cenis-disorganization-in-2023-polls/
