EDGAR LUNGU DID NOT ENDORSE ANYONE

The Patriotic Front (PF) party has stated that the late sixth Republican President, Edgar Chagwa Lungu , never endorsed any political candidate before his passing.

This assertion comes from PF Secretary General Raphael Nakachinda, who spoke in an interview on Monday evening.

Nakachinda expressed concern over what he called “desperate attempts” by some politicians to use the late president’s name to further their own agendas.

He emphasized that President Lungu was known for his principled approach and would have no part in the political maneuvering that has emerged since his death.

In his comments, Nakachinda urged the public to respect President Lungu’s memory and not to engage in discussions that misrepresent his views.

He highlighted that the late president was focused on uniting the nation and did not publicly support any candidate before his demise.

The statements from the Patriotic Front come in the wake of growing speculation regarding political endorsements.

As Zambia prepares for future elections, the party is keen to clarify the late president’s position and assert its commitment to his legacy.

Many supporters of Lungu hope his contributions to the country will be remembered fondly without being overshadowed by political disputes.

The Patriotic Front aims to ensure that his name is used in a respectful manner as they move forward.
